Happy Halloween!

Good morning and Happy Halloween!  In case you need something to do with the pumpkin seeds after carving your pumpkin, try roasting them!  All you do is rinse them off and dry completely, coat with about a teaspoon of canola oil, season however you please, and roast at 350 for about 25 minutes.

I used a combination of sea salt, cumin, and paprika.  Other seasoning combinations that would be tasty include:

  • Cinnamon and nutmeg
  • Brown sugar, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper
  • Sea salt and white vinegar
  • Chili powder, cumin, and garlic
Enjoy your Halloween!  I'm back tomorrow with an exciting blogging announcement!

Are you dressing up tonight, or did you dress up this weekend?  We had John's 10 year high school reunion so no Halloween parties for us.  I did eat a lot of candy though :-)

  1. Oooo! Can't wait to hear the blogging announcement! We are only dressing up Kaden as a monkey and Millie as a banana... will be fun to attempt trick or treating with him though :)
